The Principal Investigator of the project is Andrea Leone-Pizzighella: a teacher-turned-researcher who is working to better understand how schools function. An educational linguist by training, her research in secondary schools lies at the intersection of linguistics, anthropology, and educational sciences. Her project as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow (STEMCo Project, 2022-2026) is a participatory action research project in two middle schools in northern Italy.
