La Principal Investigator del progetto è Andrea Leone-Pizzighella: un'insegnante-diventata-ricercatrice che si occupa di capire meglio come funziona la scuola. Linguista educativa di formazione, la sua ricerca nelle scuole secondarie si colloca al confine tra la linguistica, l’antropologia e le scienze dell'educazione. Il suo progetto come borsista Marie Skłodowska-Curie (Progetto STEMCo, 2022-2026) è un progetto di ricerca-azione partecipativa in due scuole medie del Nord Italia.
